What us ONU's Day of Giving?

• Each spring, the Polar Bear community comes together for a special 24-hour celebration of generosity and impact. On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, we will rally for The Polar Push — a powerful Day of Giving dedicated to supporting our students and strengthening the future of Ohio Northern University.
  The Polar Push is more than a fundraising event. It’s a collective movement — a day when alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends unite to create momentum, remove barriers, and push opportunity forward for current and future Polar Bears.

Why Give?

• At Ohio Northern, student success requires more than academic excellence. It requires access, support, and a community willing to step in when challenges arise.
  Your gift during The Polar Push helps clear the path for students by supporting scholarships, emergency assistance, campus programs, and other vital resources that enhance the student experience. When you give, you help ensure that financial hardship, unexpected obstacles, or personal challenges don’t stand in the way of a student’s ONU journey. Every gift builds momentum. Every donor strengthens the push.

  You can also amplify your impact by becoming a Day of Giving Ambassador. Ambassadors receive early updates and help energize the Polar Bear community by sharing, posting, liking, and commenting on social media throughout the campaign. How to do I make my gift?

• Gifts can be made online using a credit or debit card, Apple Pay, PayPal, or Venmo.
  You may also mail a check with “ONU Day of Giving” and your preferred fund noted in the memo line. Your gift must be postmarked on April 7, 2026, and mailed to: Ohio Northern University 525 South Main Street Ada, OH 45810

Will my ONU Day of Giving contribution be tax-deductible? 

• Yes. Your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, unless otherwise noted. You will receive an email confirmation shortly after making your gift, which serves as your receipt for tax purposes.
